ABOUT ERICA LAM
Erica's career in social media started started in 2006 when she founded The Style Spy, an award winning Canadian fashion lifestyle site. The site was awarded a Silver Award for Best Web Design and was a finalist for Best Online-Only Publication in the 2011 Canadian Online Publishing Awards. Known as a social influencer, Erica was chosen as the only Canadian blogger in 2011 fly to LA to interview David Beckham and New York to interview designer Vera Wang. She's partnered with brands including Capital One, Scotiabank, McDonald's, Ford, Hudson's Bay Company, Aritzia, TOPSHOP, ALDO, H&M and AXE. She manages and leads a team of contributors across Canada.
In 2009, Erica became the lead social media strategist at Cossette West and later, Dare, where she created social media strategies for brands including Baileys, Sony Ericsson, John Frieda, McDonalds, GAP, Honda, Tourism British Columbia, Ronald McDonald House Charities and Ivanhoe Cambridge.
In 2012, Erica left Dare and moved to Montreal and started her freelance career, working directly with both agencies and brands. Since then, she's worked with whil, The Noodle Box, Shape Properties, Highstreet, Lougheed Town Centre, Brentwood Town Centre, Vitala Foods, Martin's Apple Chips, BC Tree Fruits, Avocados from Chile, Envy Apple and Gentle Fawn. Most recently, her work with Highstreet was recognized in the ICSC Canadian Shopping Centre Awards, winning a Silver Award for Marketing Excellence, Social Media.
Now back on the West Coast, Erica is based in Vancouver, BC.
